The plant behind the label

Leitesti (Shandong) Lubrication Technology Co., Ltd. is a contract blender and filler in Zoucheng, Shandong. We make industrial and automotive lubricants for other people's brands — and we would rather be measured on the paperwork than on the brochure.

Who we are

A blender, not a brand

The company was set up to make oil for other people. That is still what it does: roughly 150,000 tonnes a year of blending capacity, sold under customers' labels in China and, increasingly, abroad.

Two fully automatic pulse-pneumatic blending systems feed six automated filling lines. Base oil is stored in 20,000 tonnes of tankage on a 60-mu site, which is what lets us buy in bulk and hold a formulation stable across a season rather than blending to whatever arrived that month.

We buy base oil from Shell GTL, ExxonMobil Chemical, SK and S-OIL, and additive packages from Lubrizol, Infineum, Afton, Chevron Oronite, BASF and RohMax. We also hold a technical cooperation agreement with Afton's Suzhou research centre — which matters more than it sounds: it means a formulation problem gets escalated to the additive company's own chemists, not just to ours.

The numbers, with nothing rounded up

Everything here can be checked against the business licence and the plant's own records. If a number is not on this page, we probably do not have it.

What goes into the drum

The base oil and the additive package decide most of the performance and nearly all of the cost. Ours come from the same suppliers the international brands buy from.

Where these grades already run

Two heavy-industry sites — a coal-fired utility and an integrated steelworks — have issued formal approvals naming our grades as designated plant oils:

  • Coal-fired power generation — anti-wear hydraulic oil and rust-preventive turbine oil.
  • Steelmaking and continuous casting — spindle, hydraulic transmission, oil-mist lubrication, industrial gear, diesel engine and hydraulic oil series.

Approval letters are available to buyers under NDA, and they carry more weight in a qualification review than any customer logo wall.
