Gasoline and diesel engine oils for cars, trucks, buses, excavators and farm machinery, plus GL-5 gear oils and ATF/CVTF — the grades a distributor needs to complete a range, produced under your brand in 1 L, 4 L and 18 L packs.
| Family | Performance levels | Viscosity grades | Pack | Standard |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gasoline engine oil | API SP · SN PLUS · SN · SL | 0W-20 · 5W-30 · 5W-40 · 10W-40 | 1 L · 4 L | GB 11121 |
| Diesel engine oil | API CK-4 · CJ-4 · CI-4 · CH-4 | 10W-30 · 10W-40 · 15W-40 · 20W-50 | 4 L · 18 L · 200 L | GB 11122 |
| CNG / LNG engine oil | medium ash, 100 % gas | 15W-40 | 18 L | OEM |
| Gear oil & driveline | API GL-5 · ATF · CVTF · DCTF | 80W-90 · 85W-90 · 85W-140 | 1 L · 4 L · 18 L | GB 13895 |
API licensing is a formal registration with a licence number; formulations can also be built to meet a performance level without being licensed. On engine oils the mark is auditable, so we state which one applies to each grade in the quotation.
Every service category, viscosity grade and bottle format is on its own page, with the high-ash / low-ash distinction that decides whether a Euro VI truck plugs its DPF.
Engine oil rangeFour product lines covering plant hydraulics, cold-climate hydraulics, combined hydraulic-and-slideway systems, and total-loss lubrication. The L-HM line holds Denison HF-0 / HF-1 / HF-2 approval and is the one most buyers start with.
| Product | Grades (ISO VG) | Viscosity @ 40 °C, mm²/s | Standard | Approval |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| L-HM anti-wear hydraulic | 32 · 46 · 68 · 100 | 28.8 – 110 | GB 11118.1 · DIN 51524-2 HLP | Denison HF-0/1/2 · 47011 |
| L-HV low-temperature hydraulic | 32 · 46 · 68 | 28.8 – 74.8 | GB 11118.1 | VI ≥ 140, pour point ≤ −30 °C |
| L-HG hydraulic & slideway | 32 · 46 · 68 | 28.8 – 74.8 | GB 11118.1 (L-HG) | stick-slip ≤ 0.08 |
| L-AN total-loss system oil | 32 · 46 · 68 · 100 · 150 | 28.8 – 165 | GB 443 | antioxidant in 32 / 46 only |
L-HM is a zinc-free, ashless formulation: copper-strip weight loss is nil, so the same oil runs in a vane pump with a steel-on-bronze stack and in a piston pump without attacking either. That is the property Denison tests for.
Machine tools, injection moulding machines, presses, excavators, rolling mill hydraulics, and hydraulic systems that also drive a gear train at moderate load.
Medium and heavy-duty enclosed gear oils built to the American gear standards most original equipment still references, plus a PAO series with a FLENDER approval for gearboxes that are still under warranty.
| Product | Grades (ISO VG) | Viscosity @ 40 °C, mm²/s | Standard | Approval / note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| L-CKC medium-load gear oil | 100 · 150 · 220 · 320 | 90 – 352 | GB 5903 · AGMA 250.03 · USS 222 | FZG failure stage ≥ 11 |
| L-CKD heavy-load gear oil | 100 · 150 · 220 · 320 · 460 | 90 – 506 | GB 5903 · AGMA 250.04 · USS 224 | contact stress > 1100 MPa |
| PAO gear oil series | 220 · 320 · 460 · 680 | 198 – 748 | FLENDER specification Rev. 13 | FLENDER BS-08-2217 |
| L-CKE/P worm gear oil | on request | — | GB 5903 | S-series, quoted per order |
Scuffing load capacity on the FZG rig (DIN ISO 14635-1), compatibility with elastomer seals (ISO 6072) and micropitting resistance (FVA 54 VI). Gearbox makers ask for these three before they will honour a warranty claim.
Rolling mills, cement and mining reducers, sugar mills, paper machines, cranes and conveyors — circulating or splash lubricated, oil bath or oil-mist.
Oils where the failure mode is not wear but deposit, vapour pressure or chemical reaction with a refrigerant. The specifications below are the ones that decide it.
| Product | Grades | Key property | Standard | Where it is used |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| L-DAB air compressor oil | 32 · 46 · 68 · 100 · 150 | low carbon-forming tendency, secondary hydrotreated base oil | GB 12691 | reciprocating and drip-feed rotary compressors |
| L-DAH screw compressor oil | on request | oxidation life, varnish control | GB 12691 / OEM | oil-flooded screw compressors |
| L-DRA/A refrigeration oil | A46 · A68 | very low pour point, U-tube flow | GB/T 16630 | open compressors on ammonia (R717) |
| L-DRA/B refrigeration oil | B46 · B68 · B100 | chemical stability with refrigerant | GB/T 16630 | semi-hermetic units on R717 and R12 |
| Vacuum pump oil | 46 · 68 · 100 | lowest achievable vapour pressure | SH 0528 | rotary vane and mechanical booster pumps |
Ammonia systems and halocarbon systems need different base oils. L-DRA/A is for open ammonia compressors; L-DRA/B adds the chemical stability that semi-hermetic R12 units need where the oil sits in contact with the refrigerant.
The specification that matters is vapour pressure. A general compressor oil in a high-vacuum pump will back-stream and contaminate the chamber.
Three product types that share one requirement — the oil is a functional fluid, not a lubricant. Dielectric strength, thermal stability and viscosity at speed.
| Product | Grades | Key property | Standard | Service limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Transformer oil | 10 · 25 · 45 | dielectric strength, oxidation stability | GB 2536 | transformers up to 330 kV |
| Heat transfer oil L-QB | L-QB 240 / 280 / 300 | initial boiling point, thermal stability | GB 23971 | bulk temperature up to 300 °C |
| Heat transfer oil L-QC | L-QC 310 / 320 | higher thermal ceiling | GB 23971 | bulk temperature up to 320 °C |
| Spindle oil | 2 · 5 · 7 | low viscosity, anti-wear, demulsibility | works standard | high-speed plain and precision rolling bearings |
For heat transfer systems we quote the bulk temperature the oil can hold, but the number the operator must watch is the furnace outlet — keep it below 280 °C or the oil cracks and the system starts to coke.
Two oils with different initial boiling points in one system give you an unpredictable vapour phase. Drain and flush between brands.
Usually yes. Send the TDS you are buying against today — or the OEM approval number your customer insists on — and we will tell you honestly whether it is a reformulation, a straight match, or something we would rather not promise.
We will not print an approval number we do not hold, and we will not describe a formulation as "API licensed" when it only meets the performance level. If a buyer audits the label, that difference becomes your problem — so we keep it accurate from the start.
